well, i use a lot off real stereo effects, like stereo tremolo and i use one source for the left 
and on ells for the right in and out.
in fact, the GSP2101 is the only pream/multieffect that can root signal between input and 
output, with differents effects for the left and the right channels.
you can have a guitare on the left "channel"(front input), a bass on the right "channel"(right fx 
return input on the back), and then keep the both signals at the left and right ouput.
I can allso say that the headphones ouput seems to be very secondary on this machine, i tried 
it once or twice, but the sound wasn't at the apointment..
