First of all, sorry to hear about your loss
during the Katrina disaster. I'm sure all members of this forum wish you
well and hope you get back on your feet soon.
I know several guitarists who ditched one form of
signal processor or another for the Line POD when it was first introduced.
After about 6 months, most of them regretted the move. The general feeling
was that the POD sounds good in the studio but it sucks for live
performance. The most common criticism was that the POD gives you a
compressed sound - it loses a lot of its sparkle outside of the hi-fi studio
environment.
So I'll be very interested to hear if your
honeymoon period wears off. Please keep us all in touch with your
progress.
Best Regards,
Graham Pearson
