Does anyone know if you can use the control one and a separate midi
controller at the same time? I like having the bypass and tuner with
the control one, but I would like to be able to switch my other rack
gear at the same time as the 2101 (i.e. not having to stomp a button
on the control one AND on my midi controller). If this is impossible
does anyone have any other suggestions for controlling my rack with
one board and being able to bypass the 2101?

Hi there,

I just don't get the idea of what you mean by that: the Control One as
far as I know can also be used to control other Midi devices. At least
I do that to use my GSP in conjunction with my Quadraverb.

I own both a control one and an fcb 1010 and I prefer using the fcb
for my other devices since I can use it to switch my amp as well. Plus
I like the pedals better. But i like being able to bypass my 2101
without switching settings as well as being able to switch settings
while in bypass mode (I don't have the PPC upgrade, so changing
patches has a bit of a lag that i would like to avoid). if it wasn't
for the bypass and tuner, I would scrap the control one altogether.
