Mailist to discuss all issues regarding the Digitech GSP-2101 Guitar FX Processor

Hi. I can no longer get a sound through my Saturated/Distorted Tube
settings. The Clean Tube works no problem. I have tried swapping the
valves and I get the same issue so I know the valves are fine. I'm
guessing it has to do with the V2 circuitry. Has anyone experienced
this before and were you able to fix it? Thanks.

Does anyone have the schematics for the gain stages of the 2101, both tube
and Solid State ones.

 

Any help would be great.

Had you done anything to it lately or did this just happen out of

It just started happening (or rather not happening) one day. The unit
wasn't dropped or pushed too hard. I simply plugged in my guitar
loaded up a preset that used Saturated Tube and did not hear anything.
Most strange.

I tried to do 2 different system resets and neither of them worked
sadly. But thanks for the suggestion anyway.

You could contact Digitech to get it serviced, or maybe someone on 
this or the other 2101 list can service it for you....
any volunteers?
We all own and love this old dinosaur, and probably soon we will all 
need servicing work. Maybe someone who is fluent in this stuff could 
go into this business?

I know Digitech will check it out and fix it for $85 if you send it to 
them.  Sorry I can't help you more.
