Out Of Program Memory - Ouch!

I made an interesting discovery about the GSP-2101 when it is out of program memory. Supposing you're attempting to save a new program to user program 63, for example, and your 2101 displays the "Out of Program Memory" message. Not only is your new program not saved, but your user program 63 is restored to the factory default, which is a copy of factory program 163.
This will happen regardless of whether or not a user algorithm is associated with the new program.
Here's some background information. I'm using a Randall RM4 as my preamp. I use the RM4's input for my guitar and the RM4's outputs are sent to the FX Returns of the 2101. With this configuration, I want to bypass the analog section of the 2101 entirely for all of my user programs 1 through 100.
Essentially, I have to change every one of my user programs in 2 places:
1. The External FX Loop parameter must be changed to "No Sum"
2. The Stereo Noise Gate immediately following the External FX Loop parameter must be changed to "Bypass"
This process went without a hitch for all 100 user programs. I then decided to replace all those user programs that use Algorithm 29 "No Digital" with copies of factory programs 201, 202, 203, etc. There are 11 "No Digital" user programs in all, but I only got so far before my 2101 choked with the "Out of Program Memory" message. This happened to be program 63.. When I went back to program 63 was when I discovered it had been reset to a copy of the factory program 163.
Bla, bla, bla, sorry about this wordy post.
