URGENT,,,, Need to fix @101

My 2101 won't even boot up anymore. It started today when it froze after i was adding some patches to it via midi. I couldn't even do a hard reset on the unit. I held the 1 button down, then pressed the power button, but an asteris showed up where the digitech logo moves (the top left of the screen). The unit freezes up until i let go of the 1 button and press it again... then the asterisk disapears. It started out it would get to where it should go to the first patch, but it would just freeze. The red led and peak leds would never light up. Then i would have to turn it off. After that I took out to battery and unplugged it, let it sit, came back and it booted up like normal. So I did a reset just to be safe and it was fine. So I programmed 4 patches and 1 algarithm (by hand this time, incase the midi messed it up the first time) and it worked. So I turned it off, did a few other things around the house, then went back to use it again. Now it boots up and instead of going to a patch all the leds start flashing and it won't do anything. I just tried it again now and its freezing before it even gets to flashing the leds. I just put in the artist upgrade i got from Dieter about two months ago and it was fine until today when i was adding patches via midi. This is my only way to play guitar, and used it to record other amps when i can't mic the cabs.... so i need it. Please Help Pete
