Creating a delay loop

Creating a delay loop

2003-09-28 by fayser1

Hi Guys
Someone posted an article some years ago on how to set up a delay
loop that could be triggered by a footswitch on the Control one
board... In other words you could start a loop by pressing a
switch , play the necessary chords and then finsh the loop by
pressing another switch... then you could trigger the play back of
this loop by pressing another switch .. thus you could play over a
backing if you will .
Does anyone recall this or know how it can be done with the 2101.

thanks
Tony

You can do this using the sampler module, though I haven't set this
particular configuration up before. I do know that the Artist firmware has
at least one patch using the sampler that records what you play, and then as
soon as you hit a note, it starts playing again. Let me know if you need me
to email you that particular patch.

Brian
