Mailist to discuss all issues regarding the Digitech GSP-2101 Guitar FX Processor

Hi guys,
I am in that funny situation when you have to go out and play live to
promote a record in which there's a song which is based on a sound you
don't have anymore.
The sound was made by tweaking a preset on a 2101.
Now, I ask you: what about giving the song a listen and tell me which
is your idea over: 
1) which is the original preset ?
2) which are the tweakings ?
I could upload it on my website for a few days so you can listen to it.
Any good-willing people ?

Another thing, which is a bigger worry:
Last night my 2101 started to act very strange; signal goes from ok to
low to nothing while getting more and more distorted.
After a while it comes back again and then again the same routine. I
checked cables=same result.
I bypassed the preamp section=same result.
I checked it with all presets=same result.
What can it be ???

Sure, I'm always up for a challenge..

Tube going bad, maybe? Those 12ax7s will last a looooong time, but it's 
worth a shot to pop a couple of spares in there and see if it helps.

It happens also when I bypass the tube preamp using the solid state mode.
I'm afraid it's something different.
