How many of you kept "watching" my attempts to sell my GSP2101 on ebay for $499?

How many of you kept "watching" my attempts to sell my GSP2101 on ebay for $499?

I think I put it up there about 4 times and maybe 5. I would take
advantage of ebay sales where you would post for a dime or 50 cents no
matter what the cost of the item was. It finally sold for the same
$499. I was so irritated that sometimes it would get up to 500 hits
(not exaggerating)and up to 20 people watching it yet no buyers. I
knew it was a long shot but I had the funny feeling someone was going
to hit it sooner or later. My feedback and the look of the unit would
make the difference. Funny thing is I used a picture I snagged off the
internet from some guy who had sold one years ago. I waited to get
positive feedback before I posted this. So how many of you were the
watchers that irritated me so much? I wonder if anyone from the board
here was watching or just took a quick look. The ebay listing auction
number is 7377968118 and all you have to do is copy & paste that
number and put it in the search box of the ebay home page. :-)

You really thought that was a lame picture? That's what I thought made it good for the sale. It looks like the really nice, super clean & boring suburban home where everything is always kept clean. You know, a place where the person cares for their equipment like their home. I knew the average "rocker" wouldn't care but that's the person that I knew would not be able to pay $500 for it. I know because I'm one of those poor schmucks and still am at age 40. Yes, I'm a loser. I probably sold it to a guy who makes more than enough money and trusted my picture and me more than the others selling it for cheaper on ebay. You see, my unit was that well taken care of and really was barely used. That guy wanted exactly that. Yes, he probably could have gotten another one in the same shape for $200 but he couldn't be as sure. He just felt right about it and that's exactly what I was waiting for.

I know, I know. The thing is 15, 18 & 20 people watching it?. If you just look and then leave but these people would put it in their "watching" list to see how it would turn out. Then it would end and me here thinking at least ONE would buy! I remember the first time actually thinking there might be a fight for it among 3 or 4 people at the end even though it was BUY IT NOW and not an auction listing. Ha, ha, was I in for a surprise.

The point being??? I still don't get how relevant this could be for
this group.

You're happy as you 3x overpriced your 2101 and some poor uneducated
buyer bite the hook? I wonder how that guy is feeling now reading
your postings if he is part of the group (or he will very likely
subscribe soon).

Congrats for your achievement, bye and all the best, and stop this

Gus, my intention is not to gloat. On the contrary, I guess I'm just blowing off some frustration of the 4 times I listed the thing and it wouldn't sell even though that many people were watching it. I guess I'm just happy that it turned out good after all. That's really it. I'm getting the frustration off. I guess I didn't realize that's what I'm doing by posting about it. I only want the best for the guy. Now I'm only responding to the posts anyway.

You're 40? From your posts and from what you wrote in your ebay
listing, I assumed you weren't even 15. Anyway, we come to this board
to learn and share information on the GSP2101, so please stop wasting
our time and bandwidth with your mindless rants. We, on the contrary,
have lives.

You can actually use a GSP2101? From posts like that below, I would think you were 8 years old. Insulting people when they aren't insulting you is childish. I am only replying to posts about mine. If you don't want to hear any more replies then don't make any more comments. You say I should stop talking about this subject but then you make a second comment on my replies. I will not be posting any more similar posts but I will, however, continue to respond to posts about this one. Oh, and I will definitely respond to attacks such as yours. Who's the child here? Grow up!

Don't get me going! I would love to see a new 2101 version with palmer speaker simulators and a new wah to start with. I will be conducting a speaker sim shoot out in the near future. I picked up a Palmer PDI-09 from http://www.palmergear.com. I already had the Behringer Ultra G and a JD-10.
http://www.atomicguitars.com/jd10/jd10page_html.html
I think people need to know what is best and the IS NO SHOOT OUT online for these speaker simulators

Hey $500 for a use 2101!!! What the F%^*. I could buy 3 for that.
