     Hi,I purchased a Telesis backlight and I have had some success with the installation. I am getting a bright display but no text or lettering is being displayed on the LCD. 
I have made sure the connections to the power supply and connections from the backlight have been soldered securely. 
Does anyone have any suggestions about why I am not seeing the text?
