Iain,

Although I haven’t owned or used a K5 or K5m in 20 years, I downloaded the manual and read the chapter about dumping/loading data through Midi.

Just checking,

Have you connected both Midi in and out of the K5 to your source ? The K5/K5m needs a so called hand-shake process for recieving Blocks of patches.
