Hi, 

Ok, I'm very excited about seeing the replacement backlight. But does
anyone know of a source for the LCD itself ? Other than Kawai that is ?

Mine is cracked and bleeding through the middle, essentially it's
useless. 

I'm fairly comfortable doing electronics hacking, but I would like to
pay as little as possible for a replacement. 

I haven't really become that familiar with my K5 other than a MIDI
controller, but I love my K3, and from the enthusiastic posts here and
on the website, it's put a bee in my bonnet.
