I've got 1.0 and I remember to have heard that but I don't know how to fix it. Maybe changing to 1.2 will fix this or maybe resetting the K5 will work (My K5 was full of bugs because I was doing MIDI and often forgot to turn protect to on while playing sounds). momongachop2000@... a écrit: Hi, new member here. I just got my K5 and I have a few questions about it I'd like to ask. First, mine has the v1.0 OS and I was wondering if anyone knew in detail what the v1.1/1.2 EPROM upgrades specifically fix. I'm gonna upgrade to 1.2 anyway, but I was just curious. Second, has anyone with the 1.0 OS run into what I would describe as random re-triggering of the voices? What happens is that every once in a while when I'm playing, if I strike a key the K5 will play the note, but right away re- trigger the note for a split-second, then trigger it again like normal. It sounds like a short "blip" or glitch usually, but sometimes it'll have some release to it -- kinda like when you switch patches while holding a sustained note and you can hear the settings reset to the new patch. Sorry if this makes no sense, but it's a bit tricky to explain without you hearing it. Anyway, I'd say it's not a dirty keyboard 'cause it's really random as to what keys it will happen with and there doesn't seem to be any repeat offenders that stand out like you would expect. Also, it happens fairly infrequently, but enough to cause some concern that something isn't right -- maybe once every 100-150 notes played, sometimes sooner. I haven't had the time yet to hook it up via MIDI to see if it will happen when controlling another board, or when being controlled, but personally I think it's a glitch or bug in the 1.0 OS since I read somewhere that newer versions fixed "clicks" or something of that nature. Has anyone here had any similar experiences, and if so, what was the cause? Sorry for the long post, thanks for your help! :) Eric -- antdes45@...
