[k5synth] - k3 files not loading

2004-04-22 by jbrave

I wonder if I'm doing something wrong, but the first k3 midi file you sent
loaded no problem. Neither my K5 nor k5m are recieving these new banks
however. I tried both running the .mid file through Windows Media Player
(what I did with the last one) and through Cakewalk, and no luck. I don't
see any reason why this shouldn't load.

Nevermind... set the mid channel on the K5 to 1... First I tried setting the
midi channel in the sysex banks to 0A, which worked partially - some patches
loaded... Then I changed the K5 to bank1 and set the 3rd byte back to 00,
and got a sucessful transmission.

Cool. I'm glad you got it working. Let me know if you have any more
problems. Could be I did something different at this end without
realizing it.
