Kawai K5 Manual Thank you, and etc.

Kawai K5 Manual Thank you, and etc.

2004-01-30 by Enarke

Hello,
I want to give a big "Thanks" to Joel Braveman for the nice scans of an
already hard to find manual..."Thanks".
I aquired my K5 from a music store owner who had it in the back room to be
repaired for many years but he never found the time to fix it. He calls me when
he gets in analog stuff, but I visited him the other day and he said to me "Just
take it, i'll never fix it", so he gace it to me for free. It is in very good condition
except for the fact that 7 of the keys do not work, and i am hoping that it is the
common key problem on the K5 that can be fixed with a good cleaning. I
found a "how to" on cleaning the contacts for the K5 keys which i may begin in
a day or so. If anyone knows the correct solvent to use or would like to give
advice i would like to hear about it.
Thanks for the manual, and thanks for the site,
enarke.

Enarke,

You are welcome! Check out the software & other things in the files and
links sections if you have a chance.

If you have time, perhaps you could post the contact cleaning info if it
isn't too large a file. I don't need it, but somebody might find it useful.

Joel
