Why? It's too hard to use?

Software is really useful for that. There are a couple of Atari, DOS and
Windows programs in the Files section. You can run the Atari programs
with STeem emulator on your computer, and the DOS programs in DOSbox or
something similar.

I guess I should experiment with the output stage and put all sounds in
SysEx to help people here.

Hi Antoine,

having resumed the work on the simple single patch editor for
the kfuenf librarian. But it takes time.

When having the first alpha running may be new
patches will follow.

Greetings

Klaus

Hi,

Cool! There's going to be a patch editor! Maybe I should convert all the sounds to KFuenf Librarian then. Is it going to be something more than a copy of the LCD on the screen? Do you plan to add some WAV to K5 converter?

I also use SoundDiver, but my version doesn't support K5 sound editing.

The only problem with new software : If we take MidiQuest by example,
it's 200$!

Hey ,
you are right, but keep in mind :
  • you can download the demo of Midiquest free
  • The only limit of the demo is that you can not save your created sounds
  • but you can press the "save" button on your K5 (or K4 )
it's a damn good app !

Hi,

the first simple editor will be just plain and simple
but not a copy of the LCD.
But it will not be the final version.
I do develop it for having an editor
that can do some things more simple than the
LCD.

Yes, i have begun already trying something around wav to k5
but at the moment i am working on the editor only.

Unfortunately i am piled with my normal work, so
it is tough going at the moment, but there will
be an editor this year, because i want to use it by myself too,
for creating patches.

Greetings

Klaus

same as UNISYN on the mac. i'm tempted to fire up an old beige mac (LCIII or 7200) *just* to run this librarian though as, even though i have a dc32 card, the memory is limited.
