And Vista will not allow one to use Partition Magic to create a new partition to do the dual boot!!! Fortunately I bought my DAW putah from Dell and they gladly let me return the Vista machine. I now have a screamin' P4 3.2ghz 1gb ram with WinXP and the Omega LOVES it! My K4 is connected to the Omega midi and my old Cakewalk PA9.3 is successfuly installed and already controlling it! I own you a case of good BEER! Amsterdam notwithstanding. You can hear my first music cd recorded in 1995 using my original K4 at www.sonicslit.com I am excited because I will be buying a soft ATMOSPHERET -DREAM SYNTH MODULE to compose with.
