Kawai Synthesizers

Hi ,

I got an Kawai Support Disc for Q80/Atari from Ebay .

It contains 16 Soundbanks for the K4 !

But I cannot open the disk ! Althoug it should be readable by Atari , 
my Atari does not recognize the disk. 

Can anyone help me ?

What kind of disk is it? Maybe an Atari (ST?) emulator would read the disk.

I know it's an Atari disk, but if it's the same format as a PC (360k 5\ufffd 
or 720k/1.44mb 3\ufffd) you can get software to read it from your PC floppy 
drive, as you can play playstation games on your PC with an emulator. 
Maybe your operating system will not be able to read it, but some sort 
of software or emulator can. If you can find a floppy drive of the same 
size in a PC you could try it. If you have a Mac, floppy drives are hard 
to find for these, and emulators even harder. Normally, Kawai have sound 
banks on their site.

You might try freeware utility "HFV Explorer", which works with Mac /
Atari disks (HFS/DSK):

BTW, there are some info on using this utility:

Also, you might try using Gemulator (Atari Emulator). They should have
some tools for working with Atari disk images, I guess:
