Kawai Synthesizers

Hi guys, I�m new to the group and somehow another species because I�m looking into the 
K1 as a padmodule for my midi-Bass. For what I read on the net and heard it is a pad-
monster - exactly what I�m looking for. Now I�m only trying to sort out if I should better get 
the K1m or the K1r. As far as I know the only difference is the joystick and the possibility to 
change the colours of multisounds in livemode. Are there any other differences? I would like 
to have the K1m because it looks cool but maybe the rackversion is better to carry around 
while playing live and that would be the most of the time I�m using it. Or do you have a great 
idea how to protect the K1m while using it live and travelling?
