Hey Christoph,
I'm looking at my mail after a lomg absence...as I
understand k1 multis, you can assign any patch and any
channel to any of the 8 layers...so...you could assign
the same patch to channels 1 through 3,(using up 3
layers) then to thicken it up you could repeat on
layers 4 through 6 perhaps detuning them...or use a
slightly different patch. In other words:
Layer 1 Ch 1 Ixy, your favorite pad
Layer 2 Ch 2 same patch
Layer 3 Ch 3 same patch
Layer 4 Ch 1 same patch detuned or another patch?
Layer 5 Ch 2 as L4
Layer 6 Ch 3 as L4
Layer 7 inactive?
Layer 8 inactive?
In this use you'd probably want to set the voice limit
on all layers to 1. The problem is you wouldn't be
able to make use of legato when playing successive
notes on different strings. Don't know how to work
around that except to choose pads without sharp
attacks? I hope this addresses your question.
