Help identify a K4 patch

Help identify a K4 patch

2006-12-14 by nemesisvex

Hello.

I was wondering if someone could help me identify a patch. It can be
heard in the first four measures of the following file:

http://www.gregbueno.com/ghost/audio/Greg_Bueno_-_Untitled_(Acid_Vogue).mp3

I recorded that track back in 1991, when I got a Kawai K4 and a Q-80
as a graduation gift. I was trying to figure out how everything
worked, so the song itself isn't much to listen to. That patch,
however, came as one of the factory presets.

Well, my K4 and Q-80 was stolen in a burglary back in 1998, and I've
only recently managed to get around to finding a replacement K4 on
eBay. (The recording was taken from a tape I made before the
burglary.) The sysex files of the factory presets I downloaded from
the Kawai support site does not include that patch, and I can't
remember the name of it myself.

I rather like that patch and would like to somehow find it again.
Perhaps the folks on this list can help me jog my memory? Thank you.

Actually, I downloaded the patches available in the Files section of
this group, and I found it in the file VOICLAY1.SYX. It's called
"**$alut!**", so this list ended up helping me after all!

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
