you have to push forward the key then you have to
gently
push the wings on the under side so the key
releases from the metal frame
the key will then raise up from frame you then move
it forward until the key plastic stop is forward of the metal stop
white keys have to be removed first before you can
remove the black keys
then the keys go back in the opposite order black
keys first then white keys
if you have any broken keys i have 52 white keys
spare and 47 black keys
i also have other spares

Subject: [kawaisynths] How to remove keys
from a Kawai K3?
I've been cleaning out my K3's insides today, but can't figure out how to
remove the white and black keys without breaking them. I've safely removed the
the ribbon cable and the keybed screws underneath the synth, but removing a
key is the real kicker. Any suggestions? Thanks!
