Anybody out there use on of these fun hardware sequencers with their K1 or something? Clearly, it is a superior machine, but I need an english manual. I only have the Japanese manual, and that's just not cutting it for me. Does anyone know where to get one? Thank you, Kawai synth enthusiasts.

The files section of this yahoo group contains the K1 docs in the format of a zipped PDF of the English docs. http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/kawaisynths/files/K1%20series/ Cheers, Ben --- In kawaisynths@yahoogroups.com, "quantisationerror" <tharockpile@h...> wrote:

Yeah, thanks, but I'm looking for an English manual for the Q-80 sequencer. I don't even have a K1. Anybody out there know where to get a PDF? Aparently you can buy a paper copy from Kawai USA for $32, but that's as much as the sequencer itself cost. --- In kawaisynths@yahoogroups.com, "chromal" <chromal.dragon@p...> wrote: > > The files section of this yahoo group contains the K1 docs in the > format of a zipped PDF of the English docs. > > http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/kawaisynths/files/K1%20series/ > > > Cheers, > Ben > > --- In kawaisynths@yahoogroups.com, "quantisationerror" > <tharockpile@h...> wrote: > > > > > > Anybody out there use on of these fun hardware sequencers with their > > K1 or something? Ah, okay, context of the paragraph was apparently misleading. You might actually want to try calling their support center; they've e-mailed me product PDFs in the past, free of charge. Do share the Q-80 docs on the file space here if you find a copy. Awesome deal on the seqeuencer! Hey Chuck, welcome to the group! By all means, upload any q80 documents you've got. There's now a Q80 folder in the files section, so just place the files in there. Ben --- In kawaisynths@yahoogroups.com, "chromatose2000" <chromatose2000@y...> wrote:

found the q-80 manuals :) http://www.kawaius-tsd.com/pages/mod_om.html so yeah great sequencer...although ive always wished it had 32 mute buttons instead of a shift button to move between banks. i use mine for dance music and it takes a bit of planning to move to the next section of the song if i use say, the first bank for an intro, 2nd bank for a breakdown , 3rd chorus etc. and if you inadvertently mute all the tracks it stops playing! aside from that its great for the price chuck

Holy shit, you did it! And it was in such an obvious place too... I see posts all over the internet asking "anybody got a PDF for this?", but there it was. Yes, clearly it is a superior machine. I bought it for the mute buttons and the interesting looping abilities, and I've had lots of fun so far. Anywyas, I got to go so thanks very much and i hope this helps lots of K synth users too!! --- In kawaisynths@yahoogroups.com, "chromatose2000" <chromatose2000@y...> wrote: > > found the q-80 manuals :) > > http://www.kawaius-tsd.com/pages/mod_om.html > > so yeah great sequencer...although ive always wished it had 32 mute > buttons instead of a shift button to move between banks. i use mine > for dance music and it takes a bit of planning to move to the next > section of the song if i use say, the first bank for an intro, 2nd > bank for a breakdown , 3rd chorus etc. and if you inadvertently mute
