Hi, sorry, but I have no comparison. But since I know the sounds of the some of the other emulated synths I can confirm, that bristol is kinda cool - in fact that it emulates lots of synths. I use LINUX for my music and I have to state, that bristol only runs under linux and there is no windows port - but nevertheless, there are some linux live-cds which include bristol - so everyone may try it. I was looking for a long time for patch samples and I'm happy to find them here... --- In korg_mono-poly@yahoogroups.com, Florian Anwander <fanwander@...> wrote: > > Hello Harald, > > > The following person would like to join the korg_mono-poly group: > > Email address: haraldmebus xxxxx@xxxxxxx.xx > > Welcome to the MonoPoly-Group. > > > Comment from user: > > I am a musician and use Bristol > I have to admit that I first did not understand this sentence, and I had > to search for "Korg AND Bristol" until I found > http://bristol.sourceforge.net/. > I had never heard about Bristol before, and it looks interesting.
