There are instructions to replace the memory backup battery (button cell 
-type, requires a bit of soldering) or alternately you can keep it full 
of C cells to keep your patches when the power goes out.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
