Korg Poly800/EX800 Users

When my poly-800 one morning woke up all her patches were lost. I
experienced similar problem when trying
to press keys, slowly rising self oscillating sound. The
problem was fixed by downloading the factory presets
from http://www.analog.no and loading them in.
But I guess this isn't the problem?
