Variable LFO in chorus is easy. Replace that resistor going to lfo integratin cap (I think it's R61) with larger pot and smaller resistor in series (pot R61X10, res R61/10), then experiment further. you can also try to sub it with divider pot. See examples of the variable lfo in stombox effects (chorus, flanger, phaser).
