Re: Software/Hardware update

2007-08-08 by Erik Hines

Mike,

I can't overstate how interesting this project is! Are you going to
code in the ability to assign or hard set CC#'s to frequently used
editing parameters? Dare I say assign CC's to ALL of the editing
parameters, and leave the door open for software Patch editors? WoW!
That would be GRREAT!! If you do, I personally pledge to create a
Cubase VST instrument that would allow editing\control of CC
parameters and also allow you to record knob movements into your
Cubase project!! Yeah!! Let me know...

BTW...I recently found the EX800\Poly800 on a list of 'worst synths
ever'...Noobies havent done the Slayer and FM mods I guess. If you
have one of these boxes, it is an absolute requirement that you do
the mods! I've owned a Korg ms-20,Juno 106, Juno 2, Many in the MKS
series and a number of soft synths, and none of them have the
capabiliities that this 'lil box has with the mods..and once Mike
gets this Mod up, I have a feeling that a lot of synth zealots will
be looking on e-bay for the 'new' EX800\poly800....Ha! I bought mine
for $7 at the local thrift store!!!!!!!!!!!

Erik
