Apologies for implying you were a newbie. The problem with trying to make either the Poly or even the EX800 smaller for a tabletop is that the main circuit board is not much smaller than the rectangular shape of the EX800 itself. That leaves making a rack mount version. That's something I've thought about a few times. And now that I know so much about the firmware it would be very possible to do by using a small LCD display and keypad unit. But I am not so sure it would be worth all of the effort. Nevertheless, I am thinking about putting the LCD interface circuit onto the new mod kit so that we can do it in the future - perhaps.
