Re: [korgpolyex] Filter slope

2010-09-17 by Michael Hawkins

I am guessing that you're talking about the filter mod picture in the files
section showing the spdt switch in the upper left.

If that is the case, then I would say that this is the standard hackers way in
which the 12/24 db slope mod is done.

The moog slayer mod is more about variable control of the VCF cutoff and extreme
resonance.

So I am not really sure what you mean by the comparison.

Mike

First, I want to say thanks for putting this group together as well as
developing AtomaHawk! Which I WILL be getting asap! For now I am gonna do what I
can with the standard parts I have here.

My question is concerning the 12/24db per octave slope switch. I want to know if
there are actually multiple contact points for switching the slope with and
without the moogslayer mod. I notice some folks have 2 switches one for with the
other mod and one for without. Will the design depicted here

...work in either case or only one and if so which one?

Thanks for the help!
