There is a lot of leeway in low-voltage DC applications. Probably anything from 7.5 to 12 volts would work, although you want to get the voltage as close as possible, especially in high-current situations. I have a Korg 9V 300ma adaptor that came with my midi pedalboard, and guess what? It's putting out 11 volts! Go figure. > b.. Meaning don't plug a 110v adaptor into a 220v socket! The reverse is also true. > From your experience, it seems that adapters with other voltages > work, though I thought I'd be safe with a 9V 300mA adapter. But > apparently polarity is an issue too... Polarity of the adaptor is up to the manufacturer. Some choose center negative, others center positive. Any good aftermarket adaptor should be configurable to either setup. - Dave garyisanidiot@... __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
