I wrote a huge reply just now but for some reason it's not showing, dammit! Basically I'm shortening rest of the case this weekend and mounting the boards before I tackle the nightmare of soldering over 19 switches and 14 knobs, I have the looms made up with removable connectors already, not looking forward to drilling the mounting holes accurately either but I'm being patient and taking my time as I want this to looks the best I can. Looking forward to hearing your fx mods, cheers again! Kev --- In korgpolyex@yahoogroups.com, "daveyray913" <sinisterthewicked@...> wrote: > > Wow, I can't wait to see your project done. Complete new wood encasement?.... tre retro and quite BRILLIANT! Everyone's going to think you have some awesome bastard child of a mono/poly, Sequential Circuits Pro, and/or A Mini! :P > Yea, I think I'm making it easy for myself and just installing multiple power ports. It doesn't matter to me that I have 2 or 3 chords coming out for A/C, that's what powerstrips are for, though purists of aesthetics may scoff :) My dedicated effects module will be piggy backed, not integrated. I'm not planning a complete integration like frankenkorg, because I simply don't have that kind of skill. > > --- In korgpolyex@yahoogroups.com, "gixxer1052" <gixxer11@> wrote: > > > > > > I meant slide pots obv ;) > > > > --- In korgpolyex@yahoogroups.com, "gixxer1052" <gixxer11@> wrote: > > > > > > > > > frankenkorg was my inspiration too, > > > > > > Currently modding my poly mk1, and as I had an old nanoverb I'm hoping to fit that amongst other mods. The nano is 9v Ac though so will need a bridge rectifier to supply DC to the poly's input. > > > > > > > > > Mine is in mid build, converting linear pots to rotary, full rehousing, etc all parts are here, now onto a soldering marathon!! > > > > > > Here's a recentish pic if you're interested. > > > > > > https://www.dropbox.com/sh/eq7mexcngq5j1sv/hzT23S9xoX > > > > > > I'll be uploading pics to the folders as I progress I reckon. > > > > > > I'd love to see pics of yours as you tackle it! > > > > > > > > > Kev > > > > > > --- In korgpolyex@yahoogroups.com, "daveyray913" <sinisterthewicked@> wrote: > > > > > > > > Thanks!
