you're right Michael...replaced the fets and the problem persists...if you have any suggestion what to check for i would greatly appreciate as i'm a novice in electronics but eager to learn...

The noise is not continous as in white noise for example but is 'fluctuating' as if the audio path is 'polluted' if that's any help...

Meanwhile i'll just check everything with my dmm...
