If you zero out most of the extended parameters and you still here distortion then you need to check the AtomaHawk hardware install. Especially, check the 10 way ribbon cable that goes from the HAWK to the AtomaHawk. If that is reversed, which I've seen some people do, then the AtomaHawk won't operate.
