Korg Poly800/EX800 Users

i just printed out the manual when one thing caught my attention: 
the poly 800 i bought has *naturally* no adaptor included ,sigh...
but i have a 9v 500mA adaptor, will it work? or is it gonna fry the 
synth, since the manual says thas 300mA ones should be used? 

by the way, olaf: i saw the pictures of your mods, could you include a 
text file saying what exactly is shown? of course i want to modify my 
poly 800 and any help is greatly appreciated. so where exactly do i 
have to apply my soldering skills? what kind of pots did you use? 
there are quite some posts dealing with this issue, but i find it 
difficult to get all the information together, so if anyone can write 
a brief description on how to install the resonance and q mods, my 
eternal gratitude will be with them....

ok, as i said in my preceding posts: please dont be annoyed by my 
stooopid questions, since you may well have been thousands of times 
through this... but pleeeeeze??? 
(he-ho-has-the-stupid-smile-on-his-face will quit now - at last--- 
phew!)
