Any Help?? Patches?? Moog slayer??

2005-06-12 by imperial_tee

Has anyone found a solid solution to the loss of patches when powering off their Ex-800
or Poly 800 once the MoogSlayer mod has been done? I have posted on this before and I
have seen other posts about patch data being lost on power off but no actual solution
seems to be revealed. I don't think a simple battery change does the trick. Could it be a
short out?

any help would be greatly appreciated,

Tom

Hi,
I've found some problem with patch data loss. This only appears when cable
is connected in MIDI IN, sometimes, some of the patches disappear. Uually
the high memory patches (81~88).

I have found no solution for this at the moment.

Joan M.

Hi

I experiment something similar with my Poly. That is a common problem
with the Poly MkI due to a poor midi implementation. Try to power up
your poly after you power up your sequencer or your keyboard
controler. Hope it will work as it work for me.

Good luck
