to many midi notes wipes presets?

to many midi notes wipes presets?

2008-05-19 by Russ

So the other day I was making music with my DAW and my Korgs. The daw kind of got stuck, then it "hiccuped"and played back all the music it shouldve been playing while stuck. Like one minutes worth of notes in one second.
Then i go to my poly 800 and hit a key, dead!

Apparently all my presets form the last 2 years of making up patches just got wiped! Damn! Now I gotta start over! Oh well next time I will save patches.

Too many midi notes wipes presets?

Russ,

that had to be really painful. I think I may be able to stop that from
happening by forcing an ERROR on the display if the stack gets too big.

I'll have the MIDI receive interrupt handler check the stack size and
drop it into a crashed condition if the stack gets too big.

Mike.

Russ and all,

I was able to confirm my theory regarding overwriting the patches if
the Poly gets overloaded by MIDI incoming data.

Now I'm working on a fix for the firmware that goes into the upgrade
kit. This problem should be fixable.

Mike.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
