New software release - fixed battery problem

New software release - fixed battery problem

2008-07-29 by korgpolyex800

Hi Poly Fans,

The good news is that there is new software for the HAWK-800 available
for download at the website.

This new release fixes the battery problem by saving all parameters
and sequencer data in flash memory. This means that you can now
completely eliminate the battery and your patches will remain in your
Poly 800 or EX-800 forever!

You can get the new software at the link below.

Hi Mike,

yesterday I upgraded my Poly and took the battery out. Everything
works just as expected. Goodbye the batteries :-)!

So - thanks for doing a great job on making Poly-800 a lot better!

Best, Saulius

The battery problem is fixed

Saulius,

thanks for your feedback, it's very much appreciated.

Now that the battery problem is fixed. I have to move on to the
Sequencer bug. I worked on it last night and believe that I may have
fixed it. I am now in the middle of testing to see if it really is
fixed. If the testing is successful then I may have a software update
coming out within a few days.

Mike.
