Mine was too - I used a chrome knob off a switch, filled up the hole with
araldite then redrilled it so it fit snug on the joystick. Much cooler
looking than the standard type! ; )

I never had any luck, I think once I got half a bank loaded... I found a pdf
of the original settings somewhere, but I'm stuffed if I know where, and I
didn't save them, just printed them off...
But if it helps, I think I've emailed in a few of my favourite settings in
the past couple of months...

Hmmm... Interesting idea. I'm not sure yet what I'll do,
but it looks kinda dorky right now.

I FINALLY got it!! I tried several different versions. This
one was quite loud. poly800.wav, 261KB. I had the poly on
"HIGH". I had tried various settings for my mixer, and then
used Winamp on 7%, 14%, 21%... Finally I got "Err", instead of
the endless "LoAd". I knew I was getting closer. My Mixer was just
about maxed, and Winamp was at 100% when I finally got success.
Very loud. Now I can regularly get "good". Hey, these patches
are much better than the random goo you get when you take the
batteries out!

I will look for patches here on yahoo though--I'm always curious
to see what others have come up with.

Cheers!
