I've had this happen myself. For some strange reason the Poly doesn't want
to react to changing parameter 86 as it should. All I can say is try to
get another midi device, or maybe a midi sequencer program, to send an OmniOff
message. It's the only thing I've found to work.

Midi omni-mode on poly800

2003-04-21 by martinbonnevier

Hi! I've recently bought a Poly800, and I love it! Just one problem:
I can't turn the midi omnimode off. It recieves all midi-channels. I
have changed the midichannel in the rcv. ch. (86), but it doesn´t
help. Could you please give me some tips about this?

Best wishes
Martin, Sweden
