EX-800 manual upload

EX-800 manual upload

2015-06-20 by bill@...

Hi folks, new group member here. I just purchased a very nice condition EX-800, with the manual also in good condition, so thought I would scan it for my own use and have uploaded it to the Files section for everyone else. It covers all the same pages as the manual already on the site, but was scanned in black and white - so the photos are less clear, but the text and diagrams maybe a little clearer. Main advantage is that it is also Optical Character Recognised (OCR'd) which means it also contains actual text as well as the scanned images. So you can search it for specific words and also copy the text out if you require. Not a big deal, just an alternative resource.

Regards

Bill

Text searchable PDFs are always nice. Welcome to the group.

Thanks very much for uploading the EX-800 manual. Especially with all of the real OCR'd text.

Thanks for taking the time to do this! I had to refer to a copy of the Poly-800's manual I found online (where somebody couldn't even be bothered to scan the pages straight!), just last week.

I hope finding the file you posted is easier than finding a way to respond to these posts!) For some reason, I see the original post four times on this page (slightly different each time); only one of those posts has Mike's reply. Odd--but I know Yahoo's all-but-abadoned these forums, and won't make them easier to navigate now.

I appreciate this resource though--thanks, everyone!

Steve
