delay effect not working

delay effect not working

2016-09-23 by gleesonalan@...

Hi All

I haven't used my poly 800 II in a while and now I notice the delay effect is not working. Any adjustments I make to the delay parameters have no effect and no delay whatsoever can be heard. The sound doesn't momentarily interrupt when I adjust delay parameters which I think it used to.

I replaced the battery and reloaded a tape backup, no change.

Anyone come across this issue?

Thanks

Alan

Start by checking the cables that run from the main board to the efx board first. Make sure they'll all in place, no bent or broken pins. No corrosion, no broken wires.

Hi Mike

OK I will check that out :) Don't think the pins are the issue as the boards were never separated, but can't hurt to check.

Thanks
Alan
