I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but I think you'll have much better luck getting your technical questions answered if you learn to condense things and not preface the question(s) with your life story (and while you're at it, nix the ellipsis laden, stream-of-consciousness style). After reading your post, I knelt down and said a quick prayer to the powers that be, imploring them to never allow you land a job writing software manuals. ;-) If you really want help and/or advice, constrain each post to one topic, and come up with a good subject heading that'll catch the attention of people who have knowledge in that area. You'll have MUCH more success that way. BTW, I've been known to author some long rambling posts myself, but I never actually expect people to read them.
