Hello, I'm using Logic Platinum 4.7.2 on Windows 98se. I was using the
Generator internal midi port. For instance when you click on a midi track
you can assign it to the output of the midi device you want, so instead of
routing it to my E-mu I routed it to the Generator midi port and had the B4
open as a stand alone instrument to get super low latency (or as close as I
can get to it). Right now I'm using this cheap Yamaha soundcard that came
with the pc with the MME EASI driver. I'm not trying to use it as a VST plug
in, I'm trying to use it like you would an external synth so I can access
the read ahead function in the B4.
I should mention that Logic only crahed after I tried using capture last
take with this midi port enabled. I played through the track, hit key
command for capture last take, and hit the space bar to play and crash!!!! I
did this same process twice. Crahsed both times. Thanks!!
