Having lived in Boston it's pretty well-known that a lot of Irish families
send money back to Ireland in support of terrorism (or did since that's
declined greatly).  The Kennedys at one time were implicated as supporters,
which is not to say they were but rather the money flowing from Boston Irish
families to Ireland was significant enough it prompted that level of
inquiry.
