It's fixable. It's a sign of age of the mixer. The capacitors in the signal
path are becoming old and so they contribute to oscillation. That's what you
hear. If you are technically handy, you could replace all the components in
the signal path with new ones. But that can cost you a lot of time and we
don't have that don't we?
It's better to look out for another mixer.

This is exactly the same thing, age of the mixer and cheap components.
Electrical components emit when there is signal running through them. If
most of the signal is decipated not through the component but through heat
and the air, you get this interference, bleeding.

Or a Tascam, they're cheap now.
