How about these things the US did :
- take the side of Egypt against Britain and France in the Suez incident
in the 1950's
- come fight a war against Iraq, lest Saddam Hussein now have two
additional provinces called Kuwait and Saudi.
- try to sort out the mess in Somalia and bring food aide
- try to sort out the mess in Bosnia and Kosovo and fight Christian Yugos
in defense of Muslims
- support the Afgan resistance in the face of Soviet invasian (this is
frequently used as an excuse for Bin Laden's creation but did the US
invade Afganistan in 1980 and kill tens of thousands? No that was the
Russians).
- send peace keeping troops into Lebannon - which even held off the
Israeli army for a time
- Pay $3,000,000,000 a year to Egypt in aide

>and the Islamic revolution that followed) leading up to the Gulf
>War and the US enforced sanctions against Iraq, which have had
>ABSOLUTELY NO EFFECT on Saddam Hussein.

All Saddam has to do is say "Alright no more nukes or bio weapons" and
then his people can eat all they want and have much money as they want.
It his sick mind that doesn't think of his own people. The fact that he
keeps trying and trying to get mass destruction weapons, and the fact
that he has invaded two neighbors (kuwait and iran), and used poison gas
on the Iranians and his own Kurds means the world community has no choice
- other than to go in and get him once and for all - which I think its
time to do..
