I don't know about today, bur in the past Rogers would have been the first choice for a Studio Kit, they are excellent drums, and many good recordings have been made with them.I would hazard a guess that a full third , at least of all the good recordings that have ever been made would have been with Rogers. What sound were you trying to get ? Maybe Tama might be different enough.
