I agree... I find it a bit silly that I'd have to moderate a list with 
less than 400 people.  I thought we were all adults? There goes another 
illusion.

To start something more interesting: I recently posted a link to a free 
plugin from FXPansion. I've tried it out in the meanwhile and I must say 
it's great!
If you tweak the settings carefully, you can make this plugin sound like 
the typical low-fi Akai time-stretching algorithm.
It sounds very special on vocals. I think it'll also sound good on 
drumloops.

Oh, another tip: if you want the ultimate distortion/overdrive plugin, 
try out the Ohmforce Predatohm! Excellent imo! Make sure you get the 
classic skin though if you want to get any work done. :-))
