But there is a big problem in that without some marketing and distribution corporation(s) of some sort it's much more difficult (of course not impossible) for an artist to make enough money to live. Electronics do help a lot in mitigating some of the physical barriers but the flip side of universal accessibility also means a glut of artists saying "me too!"
